Forget the struggles of completing an Oxbridge degrees - a group of economists have calculated that appearing as a contestant on British reality TV show Love Island for eight weeks is likely to net you more money over the course of your life than three years at Oxford or Cambridge university.

Austria's capital Vienna has beaten Melbourne to be ranked the "world's most livable city" in a new annual survey released Monday, ending the southern Australian city's seven-year reign. Some South Koreans working by the hour have had to take additional jobs as a result of a law aimed at capping working hours and giving people more free time. On July 1, South Korea cut the maximum weekly work hours to 52, down from 68.
